We design our cottages with historical accuracy in mind - all are based upon actual cottages or plans of cottages that were typical of their period. At the same time, we ensure that all our cottages have special features that make them both exciting and practical for the dolls’ house miniaturist.
Each cottage comes with a choice of styles and finishes, providing you with either a ready-made home or a base for your own creative talents. We are happy to discuss any custom designs or finishes you may require, providing you with the flexibility and control that you need over your chosen cottage.

Welcome to the Herdwick Landscapes’ range of 1:24th scale cottages
Our cottages depict typical Lakeland homes that were built between the mid 17th to the mid 19th century. These cottages, often with their distinctive white-washed walls, are an essential part of the beauty of the English Lakes.
We aim to encourage awareness of the special and frequently unique architecture of the Lake District, while also providing 1:24th scale houses and furnishings that will appeal to the dolls’ house enthusiast. Please note, whilst all our cottages and furniture are 1:24th scale, we will be happy to build any of them in 1:12th or 1:16th scale upon request.
