A History of Cumbrian Cottages

A presentation lasting between one and two hours on the development of cottages in Cumbria from the 16th to the 19th century. The talk touches upon history to explain how the cottages came to be built as they are and then focuses on the arrangements and furnishings within the rooms of typical cottages.  The talk is illustrated with a slide presentation and by using some of our cottages as examples.

Price of workshop:  £35 plus travelling costs @ 25p per mile.
Venue: Held at venue of your choice. 
Please note, the venue will need to provide a white screen and access to a nearby power socket.
