Placing An Order

To place an order, please follow these simple steps -

1. Please read our Terms & Conditions and all the information on this page before placing your order

2. Select your cottage in the interior style and finish you require

3. E-mail your order to us at cottages@herdwicklandscapes.co.uk or give us a ring on 01543 500416.

4. We will ask for a deposit of 20%.  Payment can be by cheque, cash or postal order, or you can use your credit card by using Paypal.

PLEASE NOTE: if you wish to pay by credit card we will ask you to return to this page on our web site and click on the PAYPAL link below. This will take you to PAYPAL’s secure web site where you will be able to pay by providing your credit card details. You do not need a PAYPAL account to do this but you will be asked to provide an e-mail address (Learn More).

We will confirm receipt of your deposit and begin work on your cottage.

Click on the PAYPAL link below to pay by credit card. 1. Enter the amount you are paying and click on Update Totals 2. Either log in to pay using your own PAYPAL account 3. Or click on the continue link to pay directly with your credit card. NOTE: please ensure you have notified us of your order before paying by this method!

Completion of Your Order

Timescale
All cottages are made to order to your specifications. Often, we will already have cottages in stock, in which case delivery times will be very quick.  Otherwise, depending on the amount of work in hand, the manufacture of your cottage may take up to six weeks.

We will keep you updated at various stages, so that you always know what is going on.

Delivery
When your cottage is complete we will contact you to arrange the balance of your payment and delivery. Once again, you may make payment by cheque, postal order or credit card via PAYPAL (using the PAYPAL link above).  Alternatively, if we are meeting up to make the delivery then cash is also very acceptable!

Postage
We will try to avoid passing on any postage costs to you, e.g. if we can meet up at a dolls’ house fair, if you live within a radius of 10 miles to us, or if we happen to be in your area for some other reason.  If we can’t manage any of these possibilities then there will of necessity be a charge for post and packing (approximately £20 for a cottage within the U.K.). 

Obviously, postage will have to be charged for any overseas customers - we will advise you of the cost at the time of your inquiry, but it will of course depend upon destination and size/weight of your order. 

All items sent via the post will be robustly packed.

Special Requests

We are happy to listen to any special requests you may have for the design of your cottage.  Whenever possible we will accommodate your wishes. Please bear in mind that this may involve an extra charge depending upon the nature of your request.
